  Story At the  Central Park Zoo , Marty the  zebra  celebrates his tenth birthday but has grown bored with his daily routine and longs to experience the wild. Marty's best friend is Alex the  lion , who enjoys showing off for the public and his celebrity status as "the king of New York". Alex attempts to cheer Marty up, but Marty, still unsatisfied, learns that the zoo's  penguins —Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private—are trying to escape, and follows them out. Alex, Melman the  giraffe , and Gloria the  hippopotamus  pursue Marty and attempt to convince him to return. The four, along with the penguins and two  chimpanzees  named Mason and Phil, converge at  Grand Central Station  where the authorities sedate them using  tranquilizer guns . #8 The Secret Life of Pet

 

Story

The quiet life of A pampered Jack Russell Terrier named Max is upended when his own Katie takes in Duke (a large Newfoundland mix from the pound) to their apartment in Manhattan., a stray whom Max instantly dislikes. Duke enraged by Max's attitude towards him, Duke tries to abandon Max in an alley, but they are both attacked by cats led by Sphynx cat Ozone who steals both dogs' collars and leaves them to be caught by Animal Control. Duke fears that he will be killed if he goes back to the pound. When Gidget, a white Pomeranian who has a crush on Max, discovers that he is missing, she decides to find him.
She asking all Max friends to looking for him together with her and they start adventure to real world, look for Max. 

After Max and Duke pretend to despise humans as much as they do by saying they killed their owners, the Flushed Pets invite them to join. Snowball states that they have to get a snakebite from a one-fanged viper as a test, but the alley cats barge in and inform Snowball that Max and Duke are still pets. Their cover blown, the two dogs escape the sewers and board a ferry to Brooklyn, inadvertently killing the viper in the process. Snowball vows vengeance to kill them and leads the Flushed Pets after them and two dogs start travel together to look for the way to their home.

Why I recommend

It is animation movie for adult as many jokes are not for child lol
They also describe very well about each animals behavior apply to suitable characters. There is The secret life of Pets 2 in 2019, but I recommend you to stick to 2016 story :) Of course, your child will also enjoy the movie as all pets are lovely and cute!

  Story Longtime supervillain  Gru  has his pride hurt when an anonymous rival steals the  Great Pyramid of Giza  and replaces it with an inflatable replica. In retaliation, he, his elderly assistant  Dr. Nefario , and his army of  Minions  concoct a plan to shrink and steal Earth's Moon.
